7Days Samburu Mara Camping

Day 01: Nairobi – Samburu National Park

Pick up from the hotel at around 0800hr – 0830hrs the after commence drive to Samburu National Reserve. It’s located high above the banks of the life-giving Uaso Nyiro River in the Shaba Game Reserve. This lodge cleverly incorporates the beautiful natural springs as one of its special features, and also offers the perfect base from which to explore the Shaba Reserve, as well as its sister reserve – Buffalo Springs to the west. Lunch will be served in at the lodge. Afternoon game viewing in the reserve filled with the scenic beauty. The reserve is renowned for its unique species of animals that includes Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Generuk and the Grevys Zebra among others. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 02: Full Day at Samburu National Park

After breakfast depart the lodge with picnic lunches, game viewing till 1730hrs, back to the camp for dinner and overnight

Day 03: Samburu – Mount Kenya National Park

After breakfast at the camp, depart for Mount Kenya, afternoon spent at leisure whereby you can take a nature walk to climb a bit of Mt.Kenya and then back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 04: Mount Kenya, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha

After breakfast drive past Nyahururu Falls and into the Rift Valley. Lunch at Nakuru town, Afternoon game viewing drive in the Lake Nakuru National Park. Thereafter drive to naivasha for dinner and overnight at camp. Lake Nakuru is home to millions of flamingoes beautifully lining at its shores. Lake Nakuru National surrounds lake and was gazette to protect the colony of flamingoes as well as provide sanctuary for the endangered species as such the rhino. Other Savannah games are abounded in and not mention other bird species. An afternoon game drive around the lakeshore with be the feature for the afternoon, dinner & overnight at the camp

Day 05: Naivasha – Masai Mara

After breakfast visit crescent for a walk or bicycle ride, Hell’s gate too for boat ride at around 1130hrs and 1200hrs commence drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve, if time allows do an evening game drive. Check in and for the next two nights the camp Dinner & overnight at the camp.

Day 06: Full Day in Masai Mara

The day will start with an early morning game drive before dawn and later return to your camp for breakfast and relax for the rest of late morning. Later late afternoon return to the wilderness in search of games, all meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 07: Masai Mara – Nairobi

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. Later on transfer to the airport for your onward flight
